With great sound, great looks and packed full of cool features the new Orange Crush PiX range of amps are being upgraded to pack more punch and offer more great value for money.

The improved range of Crush amplifiers now extend from the Crush PiX CR12L through to the new 100 watt CR100 BXT, offering a multitude of choice covering a total of eight models ( including the Micro Crush CR3 which is unchanged ).

Incorporating all of the style you would expect to see in Orange amplifiers, the Crush amps include genuine Orange grill cloth, miniature Orange crest finish, signature Orange picture frame edging, exterior beading and the unique hieroglyphs easy to follow symbols. Orange have drawn upon more than 40 years of amplifier construction expertise to improve range of Crush amplifiers to ensure they are as equally at home on a tour bus as they are in a bedroom.

Billy shares the following about his builds:

"...For all my Rock N' Roll Relics I use reissued Fender hardware, all bodies and necks are sprayed with nitro from Guitar Re-Ranch, the bodies I get hand cut from a local Luthier here in town. I've also used Guitar Mill bodies which are great. I use all Ash and Alder to match vintage specs unless a special request from a customer for say Pine or Mahogany. Necks I get from various sources like All Parts or I get my Luthier to cut them for me, Depends on what the customer is after. Most customers want the vintage profiles and what is the most popular is the standard 7-1/4 C shape neck from All Parts.

With pickups I've used all sorts from Duncan, Fralin to Fender etc, I always leave that up to the customer. But now I have a guy who hand winds me pickups, Nunley Custom and they are hands down the best I've come across and is what I've used exclusively for about 10 builds now, I use em' myself as well ! I also use Luxe capacitors when I do a 'Period Piece' to give it that complete vintage look Inside and out ! Also for a 'period piece' guitars (mainly Tele's) I'll use Glendale milled jack cups and slot head screws..."

ValveTrain Savannah

American Made 16 Watt - Tremolo Amplifier

The Savannah features hand-wired tweed inspired voicing matched with All Tube Tremolo. A pair of 12AX7 dual-triode preamp tubes provide the initial gain and tremolo. The power is handled by a matched pair of 6V6 power tubes in fixed bias. The voice controls are Volume and Tone. The remote foot switch and the Speed and Depth knobs adjust the tremolo from a soft chorus like effect all the way to Crimson & Clover. The Savannah produces 16 watts of shimmering clean to vintage tweed inspired crunch.

Built with top shelf components, the Savannah is the real deal. All major components including our custom designed hand wound transfomers, our high grade aluminum chassis and our eyelt boards are built in America.All of our amps are hand wired at our ValveTrain facility in Sorrento, Florida.

ValveTrain Trenton

American Made 16 Watt - 4 Voice Amplifier

Designed in the tradition of the masters, the Trenton features a pair of 12AX7 dual-triode preamp tubes driving the signal through a matched pair of cathode biased 6V6 power tubes. Inspired by the simplicity of the amp designs of the 1960's, the amp controls are Volume, Treble, Middle and Bass.

To address the needs of today's guitarist, the Trenton boasts 4 distinct switchable voices through its hand-wired all tube circuit. The High/Low Power switchable output stage delivers a smoking 16 watts of dual 6V6 power or an apartment friendly 6 watts. The RAW switch disables the tone controls and takes you from the early 60’s black face era right to vintage tweed territory.

Using the various combinations of the Raw and Power switches, the player can access a pallet of tones that are inspired by the smaller amps of the late 1950's and early 1960's.

ValveTrain Lexington Reverb

American Made 6 Watt 1x10" Combo with All Tube Spring Reverb

The Lexington Reverb combo boasts all tube spring reverb, point to point hand wiring and delivers a blistering 6 watts RMS through an Eminence Ramrod 10" speaker.

Additional features include a high/low power switch to bring the output down to 1.5 watts and a RAW switch that increases gain and high frequency response.

Inspired by the simplicity of the tweed amp designs of the late 1950’s, the amp features a 12AX7 dual-triode preamp tube driving the signal through an all tube spring reverb circuit and into a 6V6 power tube. The controls are Volume and Tone and Reverb.

The Lexington Reverb delivers a varied tonal spectrum from shimmering cleans through vintage crunch. A quick flick of the guitar volume knob controls the full range of the Lexington Reverb’s tweed inspired voicing. The reverb provides a touch of ambiance to full out surf tones with its lush full sonic spectrum. Add switchable power levels, the RAW switch and the warmth and dimension of an all tube driven spring reverb circuit and the power level and you’ve got a great low wattage amp.

Great for home, studio or small venues. Put a microphone in front of it and the Lexington Reverb will fill the largest of venues.
